February 18th, 2011 | Updates I made some small updates to the navigation of the site and added three new sections to the gallery: comic, animation and 3D. You can find a selection of a few pages of my graduation comic in the new comic gallery. June 3rd, 2010 | Back from the Comic Salon For second time I've participated in the Comic Seminar Erlangen, Germany and had a great time again! As always, the seminar has been a real enrichment: new contacts, lots of very good artists, a lot of input by the participants and great lecturers who were helping out from the very first ideas until the finished colored pages. This year we had a great week with Markus Huber and Uli Oesterle, supporting us up to 13 hours a day (and more). You can find out more about the seminar and the Comic Salon at www.comic-salon.de. March 30th, 2010 | Finished! I finally got my graduation in illustration and design! For my final exam, I had decided to create a 48 page comic album. The story takes place in early 20th century Hamburg. For the curious I'm going to post the cover and some of the first few pages into the gallery. January 14th, 2010 | Happy New Year! I know I'm a bit late, but a happy new year to everyone! I've just made some small updates to the gallery. Furthermore, there's a new blog over at Ell vs. Letty where both my friend Letty and I will contribute sketches, drawings and comics to a specific topic that we decide anew every week. July 31st, 2009 | Exhibition in Hamburg Today was the opening of my second exhibition, "Digital Painting", at the SAGA building, Bremerstraße 24 in Hamburg Harburg. All of the 24 pictures presented at the exhibition have been created in Photoshop or Painter. Next to landscape and nude painting, the works belong mostly to the fantasy and horror genres. The digital data has been printed on especially light resistant and impassible PVC boards. I think it's a great choice for art prints - colors are extremely brilliant which is aided by the matte and subtly structured board surface. The exhibition will be held until September 18th, 2009.
July 25th, 2009 | "Mahlzeit!" Finally, I've received my own copies of the catalogue "Künstlerische Photographie", dealing with artistic photography on the subject of food and meals. I've provided a photo illustration for the backcover, which can be viewed in the gallery under | Misc | or purchased via Amazon.
